Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely to customer locations according to delivery instructions.
- Conduct thorough inspections of the truck before and after each trip to ensure safety and functionality.
- Securely load and unload goods, taking necessary precautions to prevent damage during transit.
- Supervise loading and unloading procedures to maintain efficiency and safety standards.
- Obtain customer signatures upon delivery to confirm successful completion of the transaction.
- Plan travel routes efficiently, considering road conditions and traffic patterns to optimize delivery times.
- Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding any delivery issues or unexpected circumstances.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid DZ driver's license in good standing.
- Clean driving record demonstrating a commitment to safe driving practices.
- Proven experience as a DZ driver, showcasing proficiency in handling various types of cargo and navigating diverse road conditions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to operate effectively in challenging weather conditions, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.
- Proficiency in using GPS devices and maps for route planning and navigation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage delivery schedules and documentation accurately.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and resolve any delivery-related issues effectively.
