Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving high-quality meals to our clients. This includes coordinating special events, determining food portions and costs, planning menus, and requisitioning food and kitchen supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate special events and functions
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
