Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Allergist to join our team at Manitoba Health. As an Allergist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases, prescribing medications and treatment, ordering lab tests and x-rays, and consulting with other physicians as required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat diseases related to allergies
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans
  • Order lab tests and x-rays as necessary
  • Consult with other physicians as required

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Be eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor
  • Be appointed as a geographical full-time member of the Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba

Requirements:

  • Hold a Doctor of Medicine Degree with specialization in Allergy and Clinical Immunology
  • Have a strong record of publications in high-impact journals
  • Have a proven ability to obtain peer-reviewed research funding from recognized granting agencies
