About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Ontario. As a key member of our Bridges Department, you will be responsible for leading structural design teams and applying advanced engineering techniques to solve complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead structural design teams for various projects
  • Apply advanced engineering techniques and tools to solve complex engineering challenges
  • Direct, coach, and support employees assigned to projects
  • Advise management and collaborate with other disciplines
  • Prepare proposals and participate in business development

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with a structural major)
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering practice in analysis and design of various types of bridge and transportation structures
  • Demonstrated experience working in a multi-disciplinary team delivering projects with varying complexity
  • Experience with Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC) and American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) Code
  • Proficient in SAP 2000, CSI Bridge, MIDAS, Staad Pro, ETABS, and Microsoft Office applications
