Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity

LVI Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in Toronto, ON. This is a fantastic chance to work with a reputable firm in Forensic Engineering, known for their strong and consistent growth in their forensic, repair, and restoration division.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in structural design. They will also have excellent project management skills, with at least 3 years of experience in managing projects from start to finish.

The role involves direct client contact, larger projects for senior-level employees, and a lot of client interaction. The successful candidate will be able to thrive in a collaborative culture and have a strong network of contacts in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine the degree of damage in the civil/structural sectors at residential, commercial, and industrial locations
  • Collaborate with diverse teams on extensive and intricate projects
  • Design and draft structural restorations for damaged residential buildings, as well as design and draft new residential buildings
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and building owners to ensure the project is completed successfully
