We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Director to join our team at the District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's financial operations and budget activities to optimize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign financial projects and activities to workers to improve business decisions
- Coordinate the organization's financial operations and budget activities to optimize financial performance
- Evaluate daily operations and motivate staff
- Plan and control budget and expenditures
- Review budgets and financial reports for specific projects
- Establish and implement policies and procedures
- Oversee the preparation of reports and maintain financial records
- 5 years or more of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial planning principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
