Financial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team at the District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board.
Job Summary:The Director of Finance will be responsible for leading the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, financial planning, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to ensure the organization's financial goals are met.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis team to provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Manage and supervise a team of financial professionals, including accountants, analysts, and administrative staff.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, lenders, and regulatory bodies.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role.
- Proven track record of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
