Financial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Director to join our team at the District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization and providing strategic guidance to ensure the effective management of our resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Financial Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the organization's financial stability and security.
- Financial Policy Development: Develop and implement financial policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record of success in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
- Skills: Strong financial planning and analysis skills, with the ability to develop and implement financial plans and budgets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and the board of directors.
