Job Title: Driver, Ready-Mix

The Western Corp is seeking a skilled Driver, Ready-Mix to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a ready-mix truck to transport materials to construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a ready-mix truck to transport materials to construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and safe transportation.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communication: Relay information to central dispatch and receive payments for goods.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with regular handling of heavy loads and sitting for extended periods.
  • Work Environment: Dusty work site environment, with potential for remote locations and varied work settings.
