We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team at VDart. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform and other infrastructure as code tools.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Artifactory, and other DevOps tools.
  • Automate system deployments and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, and Saltstack.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices to ensure our infrastructure remains secure and efficient.

Requirements:

  • Experience with GCP services, including Compute Engine, Storage, and Networking.
  • Proficiency in languages like Python, Go, or Java for automation and scripting.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization.
  • Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Knowledge of overlay networking and inter-container communications.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VirtualBox, Hyper-V, or VMware.
  • Experience with source control systems like Git.
