Job Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. This role supports the Store Manager in various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, as well as all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Manage and maintain store appearance, including visual merchandising and inventory organization
- Support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and developing store staff
- Monitor and control expenses, including labor costs and inventory levels
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce shrinkage
Requirements:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Prior retail and/or management experience required
- Ability to work up to 38 hours per week
- Physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds
