This role is situated within WSP's resources division, which provides a comprehensive suite of services to industrial and mining operators. The electrical engineer will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team focused on planning and executing construction projects for new infrastructure or modifications to existing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders to identify needs and present technical information and study results;
  • Prepare quantity surveys and budget estimates;
  • Oversee the creation and verification of tender documents, specifications, and other technical materials;
  • Supervise technicians and draftsmen assigned to projects;
  • Assist project managers as required;
  • Contribute to the design of plans, specifications, and details in the fields of electrical, industrial, mining, or institutional engineering;
  • Perform additional related tasks to support project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualifications;
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in designing electrical systems for institutional, industrial, or mining applications;
  • Registered member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;
  • Experience in consulting engineering is an asset;
  • Demonstrated rigor, initiative, and attention to detail;
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, both verbal and written.
