About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team at WeighPack Systems Inc. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping cutting-edge projects and creating revolutionary products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and architecture for our packaging machinery solutions.
  • Develop detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) and schematics to ensure high-performance machines that meet Canadian, American, and European standards (CSA, UL, CE).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and quality assurance.
  • Conduct in-depth testing and reporting to provide valuable insights for continuous improvement and refinement of products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical engineering and design.
  • Familiarity with Electrical Codes and Provincial and National Building Codes.
  • Strong understanding of the engineering environment in the electrical sector.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
