Student Technologist for ExxonMobil's East Coast Maintenance Team

ExxonMobil's Asset Technical Department is a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our upstream assets in Newfoundland. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Technologist to join our team and support our maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day maintenance support to our offshore operations, including responding to queries and requests for spare parts.
- Contribute to the optimization of our maintenance programs, ensuring that the right work is done at the right frequency.
- Identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability through analysis of data and collaboration with the Engineering Group.
- Participate in Turnaround planning and work scope development, ensuring that our maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
- Resolve technical queries associated with SAP data history and liaise closely with the Engineering Group on maintenance-related activities.
- Currently enrolled in a College Technology program and returning to full-time studies after the work term.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders and contractors.
- Commitment to safety on and off the job.
- Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team-based environment.
- Previous petroleum industry experience is considered beneficial, but not essential.
