Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team in St. John's, Newfoundland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing onshore maintenance support to our offshore platform, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day maintenance support to platform operations, including responding to queries and requests for spare parts.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of onshore/offshore planning processes.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of equipment strategies and maintenance programs.
  • Develop and optimize bills of materials and maintenance schedules.
  • Identify opportunities for equipment reliability improvement through analysis of maintenance data and equipment performance.
  • Provide technical support and assistance with SAP system implementation and maintenance.
  • Participate in turnaround planning and work scope development.
  • Resolve technical queries associated with SAP data history.
  • Assist in the coordination of repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Liaise closely with the engineering group on maintenance and repair-related activities.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience working in or supporting a maintenance organization.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas processing facilities and experience in the offshore industry is desirable.
  • Experience working in a computerized maintenance management system, with SAP experience being beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of computer programs such as MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Adaptability and initiative.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to understand and react to diverse groups and operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in an environment that expects high levels of customer service, confidentiality, and ethical behavior.
  • Ability to recognize and resolve conflict.
  • Physical fitness and ability to achieve BST qualification to enable offshore visits on an occasional basis.
