Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete client accounts, including regular communication through video calls and emails to support various administrative functions.
- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with high standards.
- Handle the filing of GST/HST and other relevant tax documents.
- Prepare financial statements and oversee staff expense management.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their administrative needs, comfortable with both in-person and virtual meetings.
- Review and maintain Know Your Client (KYC) documentation and implement process enhancements as necessary.
- Evaluate the work of junior staff, providing constructive feedback and training sessions.
- Assist with special project work as required.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in the non-profit sector.
- Post-secondary education from an accredited institution.
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and accounts payable; full-cycle accounting is preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks Online.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Experience in supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff.
