Job Summary

BMO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Indigenous Talent Acquisition Specialist. This role will be responsible for conducting investigations to identify, assess, and report on activity that indicates an exposure to financial crimes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations to identify potential threats and evaluate, document, and manage investigations by following standard operating procedures.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and oversight of criminal risk by following a disciplined and intelligence-based approach to detection and research of activities and events in alignment with criminal risk frameworks and standards.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the financial crime management processes, frameworks, and techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations to support trending, analysis, and insights generation.
  • Support the collection of evidence and information to be used for multiple purposes, including incident reports, loss prevention, litigation, and criminal prosecution.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements as they apply to financial crimes is an asset.
  • Knowledge of banking products, services, processes, and organization is an asset.

BMO offers a competitive salary range of $35,700.00 - $66,100.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
