About the role

Hartmann Young is partnering with a global cell biology company to drive business growth locally and globally.

We are seeking an experienced and high-performing Business Development Manager to lead the BioPharma/CRO business development functions and drive sales for the company to the next level.

The Global BD Manager of BioPharma/CRO Business Development will oversee and manage all sales operations for the company and support business development activities within this client segment with a focus on East Coast North America.


Key Qualifications:
  • A self-motivated, professional, and business-minded natural salesperson.
  • A degree in biological sciences, with an additional MBA degree a plus.
  • At least 5+ years of experience associated with BioPharma/CRO business.
  • Strong leadership skills and extensive network capability within the biotech industry, specifically with bio-pharmaceutical companies.
  • Experienced in prospecting and developing new business accounts and relationships.

Responsibilities:


Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in the BioPharma/CRO segment of business globally.

Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

Partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.

Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
