Job Title: Business Development Director

At CIE_101 Beneva Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with advisors, developing business strategies, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a territory-specific sales strategy to acquire new advisor relationships and build on existing ones.
  • Provide expert knowledge of Beneva's product position in the marketplace and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Work closely with advisors to develop business-building ideas and provide sound product solutions.
  • Support the Sales Directors and Back Office Team in coordinating presentations, activities, and events to promote Beneva.
  • Update and report on current relationships and business-building activity through our established CRM and sales management process.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial product sales to independent advisors.
  • Strong knowledge of the Life Insurance industry and products.
  • Good knowledge of investment products.
  • Able to work from home/road in a virtual office environment.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time within the given territory.
  • License in Life Insurance and/or a registration to sell Mutual Funds or in the process of undertaking to obtain this is an asset.
  • An aptitude for sales and business development, consultative sales, and relationship management.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communications and presentation skills.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
  • CFP, CLU, CHFC, CFA designations are an asset.
