Position Overview

Join our team at Despres Fisheries Ltd. as a dedicated Fish Plant Worker. This role involves essential tasks in the seafood processing industry, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal education required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
Experience
  • Training: Comprehensive training will be provided to all new employees.
Work Environment
  • Conditions: The workplace may be noisy and will involve exposure to various odours, as well as cold and damp conditions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and clean fish or seafood for sale or further processing.
  • Operate machinery for the packaging and processing of seafood products.
  • Conduct quality control inspections on products and packaging.
Location Experience
  • Experience in the New Brunswick region is preferred.
Safety and Security
  • Successful completion of a criminal record check is required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity are crucial for this role.
Personal Attributes
  • Must demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
