Job Summary
Cineplex is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at The Rec Room in St John's. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to our guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Mix and serve drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Take drink orders and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Check identification of guests to ensure they meet the minimum drinking age.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for our guests.
- Work effectively in a team environment to maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Perform physical activities such as lifting and carrying heavy objects.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completed Bartending classes or equivalent experience.
- Provincial Smart Serve or Pro Serve Certification.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment
The Rec Room is a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a high volume of guests. As a Bartender, you will be required to work effectively in a team environment to maintain a clean and organized bar area. You will also be required to perform physical activities such as lifting and carrying heavy objects.
