Job Summary:
Cineplex is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at The Rec Room in St John's. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix and serve a variety of cocktails and other beverages to guests.
- Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Stock and replenish bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, and garnishes.
- Monitor and maintain an inventory of supplies, including liquor, mixers, and garnishes.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completed Bartending classes preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of bartending experience.
- Provincial Smart Serve or Pro Serve Certification where applicable.
- Knowledge of drink recipes and ingredients.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Work Environment:
Cineplex is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Bartender, you will be exposed to extreme temperatures and will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will also be required to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
