Job Title: Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Toronto Car Sales & Auto Services. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Own vehicle
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and requires hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dusty, outdoors, dirty, hot, and noisy environment.
