Key Responsibilities

As a Chartered Professional Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, implementing, and managing accounting systems
  • Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and internal controls
  • Preparing financial documentation for individuals and organizations
  • Generating comprehensive reports and audit findings
  • Compiling financial statements and analytical reports
  • Proposing enhancements to accounting practices and systems
  • Conducting field audits to verify compliance with relevant legislation
  • Developing and sustaining cost analysis and reporting procedures
  • Preparing income tax returns based on financial records
  • Analyzing financial statements and documentation
  • Reviewing accounting records for accuracy
  • Providing expert financial, business, and tax guidance
  • Reconciling financial accounts
  • Preparing trial balances and payroll
  • Maintaining general ledgers and journal entries
  • Performing clerical tasks, including filing and record management
  • Generating various reports and performing general office duties
Certifications

The candidate must hold a valid Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following software is required:

  • Accounting software (e.g., ACCPAC, Simply Accounting, QuickBooks)
  • Data analysis tools
  • MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Windows
  • Sage Accounting Software
  • Spreadsheet applications
