Nursery Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to join our team at Georama Growers.
Key Responsibilities:- Cultivate and maintain a high-quality vertical farming system, ensuring optimal crop yields and plant health.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to control pests, diseases, and weeds, minimizing the use of chemicals and promoting sustainable practices.
- Conduct thorough market research to determine the type and quantity of stock to grow, ensuring alignment with customer demand and market trends.
- Design and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote our products and services, highlighting the unique benefits of our vertical farming system.
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Supervise and train staff in planting, transplanting, feeding, and spraying, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Manage financial and personnel records, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and compliance with company policies.
- Source and procure high-quality materials and stock, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
