Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at The Estée Lauder Companies. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Canadian Affiliate and driving business success through strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and consulting support to various brands and functions on HR-related matters, including talent acquisition, succession planning, retention, employee relations, performance management, and career development.
  • Manage employee disciplinary actions and terminations, and partner with legal counsel to assess and mitigate potential risk and exposure.
  • Investigate employee grievances and cases of discrimination, harassment, and other employee relations allegations.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to drive business results and improve employee engagement.
  • Partner with people managers to deliver training and development programs, including Employment Legislation updates, Performance Management, and Recruitment.
  • Collaborate with the compensation team to design and implement pay structures and job evaluations.
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and consulting support to Brand Leads and Department Managers on talent planning strategies.
  • Foster a culture that values diversity and demonstrates fair and consistent management practices.
  • Participate in HR transformation projects, such as new process implementations and HR technology upgrades.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Degree required + Minimum 7+ years of relevant working experience in Human Resources.
  • CHRP designation is preferred.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to partner with senior management to drive business objectives while considering employees' interests.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Business acumen and ability to implement/manage change.
  • Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and strong follow-up and investigation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comprehension of retail organization and environment.
  • Tech Skills: MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint required; Taleo & Oracle an asset.
What We Offer

The Estée Lauder Companies offers a competitive salary range of $89,900 to $129,600, depending on experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition, this position may be eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
