Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team at GardaWorld. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our employees and management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by implementing employee engagement initiatives and activities.
  • Administrative Functions: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, generate employment-related documents, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
  • Labour Relations: Handle labour relations matters, including harassment investigations, performance management, and grievance and arbitration records.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between employees and management, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
  • Project Support: Participate in departmental projects and process improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work a varied schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends, across four time zones.
  • Travel: Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel to different branches across the Ontario region.
