About the Role:
Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Technician I to join our team. As a Wind Turbine Technician I, you will be responsible for performing scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled service and maintenance on wind turbines
- Conduct fault analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
- Perform main component or blade work as required
- Work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather
- Travel up to 25% per year to various locations
Requirements:
- At least a year of wind experience or a wind certificate
- 2-3 years of transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background
- Safety-focused mindset and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative in daily tasks
