Job Title: Accounts Payable Analyst Department: Accounts Payable Employment Type: 18-Month Contract Salary: Competitive Compensation Plan Reports To: Team Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Inputting vendor invoices into the accounting system and addressing all vendor inquiries regarding payments and account issues.
- Ensuring that invoices receive the necessary approvals.
- Producing weekly payments, forwarding funds to vendors.
- Managing monthly payments for rent, staff funds, and garnishments.
- Reconciling vendor accounts for significant vendors.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies with vendors.
Required Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in business or accounting.
- One to two years of experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
- Experience in a computerized accounting environment.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Accurate data entry skills to support a fast-paced department.
- Ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
