About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate II - Placement Specialist to join our team at CA001 Marsh Canada Limited. As a key member of our placement team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing innovative placement strategies to meet the complex needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement placement strategies to meet client needs, utilizing your expertise in risk management and insurance placement.
- Manage a portfolio of high-profile, complex insurance and risk management accounts, providing exceptional client service and ensuring seamless execution of placement activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters and risk managers, to develop and implement placement solutions that meet client needs.
- Stay up-to-date on changing market conditions and emerging trends in risk management and insurance placement, providing expert advice and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and underwriters, negotiating placement terms and conditions that meet client needs.
- Contribute to the development of new products and services that address complex client needs, working closely with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Lead complex placement activities on high-profile accounts, ensuring timely and effective execution of placement strategies.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in risk management and insurance placement, with a strong understanding of risk concepts and technical knowledge.
- Broker License (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
