Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at East Side Mario's Newmarket. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and portion food according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train.
- Language: English or French.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: We welcome and support newcomers and refugees, providing on-the-job training and foreign credential recognition.
- Support for Youths: We offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
- Support for Indigenous People: We develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
