About the Job

Pleasant Homes Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial buildings, as well as wooden structures in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs for building projects, using measuring tools and software
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
