About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Maple Leaf Construction. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, bridges, and other structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measurements to ensure compliance with building codes
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, and other fixtures
  • Maintain and repair existing structures, including residences and industrial buildings
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
