About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to join our team at Marksmen Construction. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve business objectives
    • Authorize and establish major departments and associated senior staff positions
    • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure effective collaboration and communication
  • Human Resources
    • Select and develop middle managers, directors, or other executive staff to ensure the organization's success
    • Delegate authority and create optimal working conditions to support team members
  • Business Development
    • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs to drive growth and innovation
    • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to support diversity and inclusion
    • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by conflicts or natural disasters
  • Operational Management
    • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
    • Ensure the effective management of resources to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior management role
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a business or organizational setting
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop and implement strategic plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
