About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Care Worker to join our team at ALA Family. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with laundry and linen duties, ensuring clients' personal items are clean and hygienic.
  • Perform other related tasks as required, working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional care.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
