Program Purpose
The Labourer Trainee Program is designed to increase the number of women employed in our Retail Sales & Operations sites in Newfoundland and Labrador. This role is an exciting opportunity for individuals to develop their skills and contribute to our team.
Eligibility Requirements
- Excellent work habits and a positive attitude.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Professional presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to pass required background screening.
Essential Functions
- Operate equipment and hand tools to provide timely, safe, and quality service to customers.
- Perform basic maintenance of assigned equipment to ensure reliability and safe operation.
- Read gauges and make adjustments to equipment to maintain proper performance.
- Assist the team at site to safely serve customers.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions.
- Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisors.
- Participate in training and safety meetings to support safety programs.
