Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Quality Suites London. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training for maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Materials and Supplies: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain our facilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions to ensure the right team is in place to maintain our facilities.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain progress and other reports to ensure we are meeting our maintenance goals.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units to ensure seamless operations.
  • Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of maintenance workers to ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a maintenance or supervisory role.

Hours: 30 hours per week
