Job Title: Building Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Diamond Canada Dearness Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train or arrange for training for maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory and ensure that maintenance tasks can be completed efficiently.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions to ensure that the maintenance team is well-staffed and equipped to handle the demands of the job.
  • Prepare and maintain progress and other reports to keep management informed of maintenance activities and any issues that may arise.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of maintenance workers to ensure that tasks are completed to a high standard and that the team is working efficiently.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 30 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
