We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Southern Health-Santé Sud. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care to children and adults in a variety of settings.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating rehabilitation services for clients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing needs
  • Provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
  • Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance rehabilitation services
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba
  • Eligible for membership with Speech-Language and Audiology Canada
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and email/outlook
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
