Job Summary
The University of Regina is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support our research team in the field of water science and engineering. As a Research Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects related to sustainable water treatment and reuse, as well as value-added products from waste streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research literature reviews on topics related to water science and engineering.
- Assist the Principal Investigator and graduate students with laboratory tasks, data analysis, and visualization.
- Prepare and edit technical reports and manuscripts for publication.
Requirements
- Strong background in engineering, biology, chemistry, or geology, with a preference for water science and engineering knowledge.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Minimum GPA of 75%, with a strong preference for students with a GPA of 80% or higher in relevant courses.
