Job Summary

The University of Regina is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Research Assistant to support the Centre for Socially Engaged Theatre (C-SET). As a Graduate Research Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including conducting research, collecting and analyzing data, and creating video content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive literature review on socially engaged theatre and associated topics, as well as projects across Canada and internationally.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform research projects.
  • Develop expertise in videography, including capturing, editing, and rendering video content.
  • Attend project meetings and collaborate with team members.
  • Deliver high-quality video cuts that meet project requirements.

Requirements

  • You must be a graduate student in the Faculty of Media, Art and Performance's Interdisciplinary Graduate Program (IDP) in Media and Artist Research at the University of Regina.
  • Have a strong research and writing background, with experience in qualitative research an asset.
  • Have a practical understanding of socially engaged theatre and media production.
  • Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with experience working virtually and on online platforms.
