Client Responsibilities:- Formulate, communicate, and execute a comprehensive governance and control framework tailored to the specific business function, ensuring alignment with the broader organizational strategy.
- Coordinate activities that necessitate collaboration across various departments.
- Oversee the execution of regulatory changes and guide the team in the development and implementation of policies and procedures across multiple business areas.
- Establish partnerships with management and relevant teams, maintaining awareness of industry trends and proactively identifying issues and opportunities for senior management consideration.
- Ensure all administrative, control, and compliance tasks are completed accurately to meet departmental objectives.
- Provide a consolidated view of all related business risks and control activities, offering escalations, recommendations, and decision support to leadership.
- Anticipate program demands and facilitate the prioritization of initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Deliver functional communications to ensure consistency and alignment with business risk strategies and executive directives.
- Guide complex enterprise projects as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and engage in the design, testing, and implementation of solutions.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to develop a strategic business plan that optimizes resource utilization and leverages the operating model for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with corporate and control functions to ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards.
- Identify and escalate key issues to relevant stakeholders and business management as necessary.
- Evaluate, mitigate, and report on risk issues in accordance with enterprise policies, ensuring proper escalation procedures are adhered to.
- Guarantee that business operations comply with all applicable requirements, including financial controls and asset management.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives as a SME, providing risk insights and guidance for complex scenarios.
- Oversee the risk identification and monitoring processes across supported functions, ensuring effective management of key controls.
- Lead the implementation of action plans to address performance, risk, and governance challenges.
- Safeguard the organization’s interests by identifying and managing risks, escalating high-risk transactions as needed.
- Foster a culture of risk management and control, supported by robust processes aligned with the organization’s risk appetite.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring adherence to enterprise frameworks and methodologies.
- Keep the team informed on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements, assessing their potential impacts.
- Lead a high-performing team by providing continuous feedback, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating employee development.
- Set performance objectives for the team, monitoring progress and addressing performance issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with human resources policies and guidelines in managing team members.

- Undergraduate degree preferred.
- Extensive industry knowledge and expertise in risk and control functions.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Forward Deploy Resources.
- Act as a trusted advisor on third-party risks and controls for the supported business segment.
- Guide business owners on pre-contract and post-contract activities, managing relationships effectively.
- Identify and prioritize remediation of third-party risk and control gaps, leading risk assessments.
- Accountable for third-party risk reporting and monitoring within the enterprise.
- Collaborate with partners to enable informed decision-making aligned with risk tolerance.
- Work with cybersecurity teams to address third-party incidents.
- Partner with centers of excellence to enhance the control environment.
