Client Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee that business operations comply with all applicable requirements, including financial controls and asset management.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives as a SME, providing risk insights and guidance for complex scenarios.
  • Oversee the risk identification and monitoring processes across supported functions, ensuring effective management of key controls.
  • Lead the implementation of action plans to address performance, risk, and governance challenges.
  • Safeguard the organization’s interests by identifying and managing risks, escalating high-risk transactions as needed.
  • Foster a culture of risk management and control, supported by robust processes aligned with the organization’s risk appetite.
Team Leadership:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring adherence to enterprise frameworks and methodologies.
  • Keep the team informed on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements, assessing their potential impacts.
  • Lead a high-performing team by providing continuous feedback, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating employee development.

Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Extensive industry knowledge and expertise in risk and control functions.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Forward Deploy Resources.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on third-party risks and controls for the supported business segment.
  • Guide business owners on pre-contract and post-contract activities, managing relationships effectively.
  • Identify and prioritize remediation of third-party risk and control gaps, leading risk assessments.
  • Accountable for third-party risk reporting and monitoring within the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with partners to enable informed decision-making aligned with risk tolerance.
  • Work with cybersecurity teams to address third-party incidents.
  • Partner with centers of excellence to enhance the control environment.
