About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Aide to join our team at Qualicare Scarborough. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medical Support: Take patients' vital signs, serve meal trays, and transport patients between care facilities.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Communication: Answer call signals and respond to patients' needs in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • First Aid: Administer first aid in emergency situations and provide basic life support.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Availability: Availability to work 40 hours per week.
