Job Summary

We are seeking a Personal Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide assistance with personal care, socialization, and emotional support to diverse client groups, including adults and children. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to clients in their homes, while promoting their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers
  • Perform light household duties, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Provide emotional support and socialization to clients
  • Monitor and report changes in client behavior and condition
Requirements
  • PSW certification from an approved and recognized educational institution
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English (equivalent to grade 10 level)
  • Must be available to work on weekends or rotational weekends
  • Ability to travel between assignments within designated areas of work
  • Demonstrated commitment to client and family-centered care
