Data Analytics Specialist

Home Hardware Stores is excited to present an opportunity for a Data Analytics Specialist to become a key member of our Strategy and Management division. Reporting directly to the Analytics Manager, you will take charge of establishing optimal practices for data acquisition, data processing, and data modeling to deliver critical business insights through our enterprise Analytics center of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance data models focused on business needs.
  • Create automated processes to streamline data flow from source systems to reporting.
  • Enhance the cloud data warehouse by integrating internal and external data sources.
  • Clean, process, and validate data to ensure accuracy for analysis.
  • Assist in the design and maintenance of Data Warehouses (DW), Data Marts (DM), and other data repositories.
  • Support Analytics change management and collaborate with external partners for data-driven initiatives.
  • Identify strategies for data backup and archiving.
  • Ensure routine operational tasks are completed and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with over a decade of experience in ETL development.
  • Expertise in database technologies, data warehousing, PowerShell scripting, and ETL/ELT (SSIS) development.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting project deadlines, particularly in Data Analytics projects.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with IT standards, procedures, and requirement analysis tools.
  • Results-driven with a keen attention to detail and quality.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic technical environment.
  • Willingness to work at the corporate office three days a week.
