Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Discipline Lead - Technical Expert to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Technical Services team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and oversight on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on construction information management protocols, including requests for information, vendor shop drawing submissions, and design reviews.
  • Review and interpret technical specifications and complex drawing sets to ensure design intent is met.
  • Interface with design and construction teams to manage and resolve issues from inception to closure, ensuring project risk profile and technical compliance with project requirements.
  • Participate in record drawing preparation and assist with construction certification and assembly of turn-over records.
  • Communicate effectively with various project teams to ensure delivery is achieved within acceptable quality, cost, and schedule parameters.
  • Identify and manage risks, and ensure good technical governance procedures are followed.
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications, and construction-related processes in the area of specialty.
  • Lead an asset and balance competing tasks, working within a multi-disciplined team.
  • Recognize hazardous work conditions and take action if necessary.
  • Use sound judgment and make informed decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, an associate's degree in a technical discipline, or construction-related field.
  • Exposure to or related experience on public infrastructure or transportation projects, preferably with experience on LRT or rail projects.
  • 0+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of public works contracts and previous experience with P3 projects.
  • Prior experience with concrete construction, rail works, overhead catenary system equipment.
