Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wood Products Assembler to join our team at Wood Floors, Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and inspecting wood products to ensure high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Inspection: Assemble wood products, making minor adjustments and repairs as needed, and inspect them for conformance to quality standards.
  • Packaging and Shipping: Pack items for shipping and distribution, ensuring they are properly secured and labeled.
  • Quality Control: Reinforce assembled products with dowelling or other supports, and mark defective parts or products for repair.
  • Surface Preparation: Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Equipment and Machinery: Proficiency in power tools, small hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, and physically demanding tasks such as bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
