Bookkeeping Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at Hat's Restaurant. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including financial analysis and recommendations.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial software, and Microsoft Office.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.
- Free Parking: Free parking available on site.
- Permanent Position: Permanent full-time position with 35 hours per week.
- English Language: Work language is English.
