We are currently seeking a Turnaround Scheduler to become an integral part of our Field Services division. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective scheduling of Turnarounds (TA) and Outages, facilitating both Maintenance and Project operations.

The position will involve responsibilities such as:

  • Crafting a comprehensive, precise, and detailed schedule that encompasses pre-work and execution phases for events, utilizing Primavera software in conjunction with Maximo work orders.
  • Serving as the primary contact for Primavera P6 for each assigned TA Event or Outage.
  • Monitoring schedule progress, analyzing data for potential improvements, identifying recovery strategies, and communicating any schedule-related risks.
  • Collaborating with planners, engineers, and construction contractors to establish activity relationships and create cohesive work activity linkages.
  • Aligning the Event Planning schedule with the Capital Projects team to ensure synchronization between Capital Projects and TA activities.
  • Developing, maintaining, and executing Event schedule management plans and foundational scheduling principles.
  • Integrating fast-track discovery work into the schedule during Event execution.
  • Conducting field monitoring and proactive assessments of actual work progress to ensure effective decision-making based on the schedule.
  • Participating actively in the close-out process and capturing lessons learned from Turnaround Events, while leading enhancements for the scheduling function.
  • Preparing for Schedule Mechanics Checks and Schedule Optimization/Challenge.
  • Engaging with contractors, field coordinators, and construction teams for progress updates.
  • Keeping a close watch on critical and near-critical path activities, generating daily reports during execution.
  • Troubleshooting data integration across various systems (e.g., Maximo, Tableau, P6, Procore) and driving continuous improvements.
  • Mentoring and coaching other Execution Schedulers.
  • Providing guidance to fellow TA schedulers throughout the TA Event.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Turnaround/Planning and Project scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 software.
  • Familiarity with technical drawings and P&IDs.
  • Experience in mentoring peers and influencing within a matrix environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Maximo or similar Work Order management software.
  • Proven track record in leading functional project teams and managing critical timelines.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions on scheduling applications.
  • Expertise in developing and utilizing integrated and automated scheduling interfaces.
