Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Rain Day Spa Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our spa facilities, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a dust-free environment
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our guests
  • Stock linen closet to ensure a sufficient supply of linens
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of hygiene
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to ensure a safe working environment
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth operation
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide excellent customer service
  • Provide basic information on facilities to our guests
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Launder clothing and household linens to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a high level of cleanliness
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns to provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks
  • Attention to detail to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization
  • Ability to work a combination of sitting, standing and walking
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Ability to maintain a high level of punctuality and reliability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities
  • Initiative to take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed
  • Judgement to make decisions and take actions in a timely and effective manner
  • Organized to maintain a clean and tidy environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Reliability to maintain a high level of attendance and punctuality
  • Team player to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals
